what were your RESPONSIBILITIES as an intern?

This summer, I worked on the project management side of a large SAP global migration for a major food and beverage client, simultaneously helping oversee three projects across multiple global regions. Some main responsibilities included deliverable tracking, verifying project plans, developing slides for project proposals/user training, and testing an app to note bugs/enhancements for better UX design. Responsibilities changed as priorities and deadlines shifted, but the main goal was working with my team to make steady progress on the project.

What was your favorite/most memorable part of your internship

Some main highlights of the internship included visiting the client site in Dallas, meeting fellow interns during the SAP Intern Summit, and collocating with my team in Boston and New York. I was also fortunate to end the summer with an incredible trip to Orlando after receiving my return offer. These experiences made the internship especially memorable, and the chance to travel gave me valuable exposure to PwC’s collaborative culture and a deeper appreciation for the global scale of the work!

Walk us through a day in the life of your internship?

Mornings often began with global project management calls to align on the expectations of the day and to update deliverable trackers. Midday was spent refining excel sheets, preparing slides for deliverable meetings, and collaborating with my engagement team to address proposal project scope. Afternoons frequently included a networking lunch or grabbing a quick bite to eat. After working on the rest of my deliverables and attending client meetings, my day ended with a project management sync to discuss what we worked on and what our ongoing plan is for the next day. On travel weeks, the day often ended with team dinners which were a great opportunity to meaningfully engage with my team.
